Important Details in Preparation for the Workshop

• Venue is the UCM Welcome Center at Level 1.


• Attendance is required at all four workshop sessions scheduled after the 8:30 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service.


• If unable to commit to all four sessions, another workshop will be given in the future.


• Be ready to commit at least one hour per week to prepare for each session.


• The bulk of the learning and memory work is done in between sessions.


• Each session will have a short input session. The remaining time will be spent sharing what you have learned from memory with another person or two in breakout groups.


• Guidance and coaching will be given by the PEW team.

Pre-work: God's Story - The 9 Bridge Illustration Verses

• When you sign up, study and memorize the 9 (ESV) Scriptures that compose the structure of the gospel Bridge Illustration in sequence: Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 3:18, John 14:6, John 3:16, John 1:12, John 5:24, John 6:47.


• You should be able to write down and recite all 9 verses (both reference and text) from memory on Day 1 of the workshop.


• Printed copies of the 9 Scriptures are available at the Discipleship Desk or the Info Desk.
